Serving Glenwood Springs and Western Colorado since 2000

Dr. Nichol grew up in Michigan and was schooled and trained at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University in Detroit. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Attracted to the mountains, he came to the Roaring Fork Valley to practice a broad scope of procedures in private practice. He continues to serve as the Trauma Medical Director for Valley View Hospital since being appointed in 2007. He has also served as Department Chairman of Surgery several times in the last 20 years.

Dr. Nichol enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, and traveling with his family. He is a photography enthusiast as well.
